Fenicks Renasci LMT
Being a massage therapist brings me great joy and purpose. It's very fulfilling to help people with their goals whether it's injury recovery, pain relief or to relax from their daily life.
I graduated from Ashland Institute of Massage in Ashland, Oregon where we focused on therapeutic bodywork. After graduating, I participated in a summer long internship at a medical massage clinic where I received one on one advanced training and education in rehabilitative manual therapy and medical massage. Since then I have served hundreds of people to help them recover from auto accidents, injuries, surgery, trauma related issues, relieve chronic pain and help them reconnect with their bodies.
As an Oregon Native I enjoy exploring the beautiful outdoors as well as Latin dance and traveling. I look forward to meeting each person and serving them.
My Treatment
Specializing in women's bodies, Fenicks uses a client centered approach to weave many modalities and techniques into her sessions for injury recovery, relief from pain and patterns of tension in the body. Her customized treatments will allow the client to choose whether they want to work on a specific issue, receive a full body session or to integrate both. Every session can include a variety of techniques and tools including cupping, hot stones, hot towels and essential oils with no extra cost.
No two people are alike and therefore no two sessions will be the same.
Fenicks doesn't work ON the body, but WITH the body. She believes that the body has an intelligence of its own and that each body has its own process for healing. She also sees the body and the person as a whole. It's important to her that each person who enters her treatment room feels seen, is heard and has the space they need to achieve their goals in wellness. She listens carefully to each person in order to meet their needs.
Fenicks has special education and training in medical massage, working with motor vehicle accident injuries, post workout recovery, nerve impingement release, pregnancy, trauma informed care and relaxation techniques. Techniques include Swedish, deep tissue, mayo fascial release, fascial stripping, cupping, light Gua-Sha, neuro muscular therapy, attachment therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and adapted Thai.
Some of the common ailments she can help you with are symptoms of whiplash, chronic neck and back pain, migraines and headaches, shoulder injuries, sciatica, carpal tunnel and stress or anxiety.
You are making time to care for the one thing you will have for the rest of your life, your body thanks you!
